On September 18, 2007, Starr appeared at Barnes and Noble in Ventura, California.
On August 25, 2007, Starr appeared at the 2nd Annual Ventura Book Festival, held in Ventura, California. This was hosted by the Literary Arts Council.
From July 20 - July 22, 2007, Starr, as co-chair organized and participated in the West Coast Author Premiere 2007. Friday night, July 20 started with an author dinner at the Sidecar Restaurant in Ventura, CA, where there were two wonderful speakers, Raven West and Patricia Fry. Saturday, July 21 continued with the author book signing, held at the Crowne Plaza in Ventura, CA. There were 12 authors participating, Starr being among them, of course. Sunday, July 22 ended the author weekend with breakfast at the C Street restaurant in the Crowne Plaza in Ventura, CA.
On June 23, 2007, Starr organized and participated in group discussions and a book signing at Barnes & Noble, along with Robin Gorley, Raven West, J.D., Marilyn Meredith, Robert Weibezahl, and Julie Carobini.
